Kenny “Beedy Eyes” Smith is an award-winning Chicago drummer, recording artist, songwriter, producer, and educator known for his deep pocket and unmistakable musical feel. The son of legendary Muddy Waters drummer Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Kenny honors the Chicago blues tradition while bringing a modern and versatile approach to today’s music. He has contributed drums to six Grammy-nominated albums, including the Grammy-winning Joined at the Hip, and is a four-time Blues Music Award winner for Instrumentalist-Drums.
